Money management aims to achieve returns which are equal to or greater than the returns on the Employee Severance Indemnity (TFR) over the long-term. This line invests principally in bonds and money market instruments; up to 25% of the assets can be invested in stocks, depending on the trend of the financial markets. The investment in financial instruments in non-Euro denominated currencies cannot exceed 10% of the assets. |

Participation in the line gives the participant the right to be paid the full capital paid-in, in addition to a minimum guaranteed return equal to 2% per annum (net of advances not repaid, if any, or amounts redeemed) at the occurrence of the following events:

- exercising the right to receive the pension benefit
- redemption due to death
- redemption due to permanent disability that entails a reduction of the working capacity by less than one third
- redemption due to failing to obtain first-time employment for a period exceeding 48 months
- redemption due to termination of employment leading to a lack of re-employment for a period of not less than 12 months and not exceeding 48 months
- advance payment for healthcare expenses due to very serious situations relating to the participant, to the spouse or to the children, for extraordinary therapies and operations acknowledged by the competent public healthcare facilities.
